Produced since 1991 as a blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, Paleo Bianco is a wonderful example of how a wine can be firmly structured and deeply nuanced and refined at the same time. If Chardonnay gives it body, creamy texture, fruity and nutty flavors, Sauvignon Blanc contributes with a firm crispness and green accent; finally the oak aging turn this unusual fusion into a harmonious mouthfeel. Cacc’e Mmitte di Lucera is a red wine from Apulia, Southern Italy. It is nevertheless completely different from any other red wine produced in the hot and dry climate of Southern Italy, which are typically bold and overripe. On the contrary, it boasts a pale color, slightly more intense than a dark rosé. The delicate taste and pleasant fruity aroma, with hints of pomegranate and cherry, make this wine suitable for pairing with lot of different food. It is made with a blend of black-berried and white-berried local grapes and is only made in steel with no oak contact, to preserve its freshness and easy drinking character.
