CHARDONNAY ― MEZZOCIELO ― GIOIA AL NEGRO
Location: Lagonegro, Potenza – Basilicata
Classification: Chardonney Basilicata IGP
Grape varieties: Chardonnay
Chardonnay is the most diffused and popular white wine in the world. For many, Chardonnay is the very idea of a white wine: so fruity, so intense, so well-balanced and smooth. Mezzocielo is a 100% Chardonnay wine from Southern Italy. The warm conditions of the region allow for full ripeness of the grapes, which turn into an intensely fragrant wine. It is only made in steel tanks with no oak-maturation, to preserve freshness and purity. To be served chilled as an aperitif or to pair with starters, vegetarian dishes or seafood.
VALPOLICELLA RIPASSO ― BERTANI
Location: Grezzana, Verona – Veneto
Classification: Valpolicella Ripasso Valpantena DOC
Grape varieties: Corvina 70%, Corvinone 20%, Rondinella 10%
Bertani is one of the most important names in Italian wine. Rooted in the Veronese hills, the Bertani winery is a beacon of the production of Valpolicella wines and beyond. Valpolicella Ripasso wine is obtained with a particular production technique: that is, with two fermentations. The first fermentation transforms freshly harvested grapes into a young wine. The pomace of grapes that had previously been dried is then added to this wine. This pomace is rich in aromatic compounds and some sugars, which induce a second fermentation. The resulting wine has a medium body, pronounced nose and a softly textured fruity taste.
CHIANTI CLASSICO RISERVA ― LE VIGNE ― ISTINE

They are carefully fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in large wooden casks for over a year. The wine smells like violet, red cherry, blood orange and some herbes. It has a very refreshing taste, juicy and lingering with fine-grained tannins. Its flavorful and savory taste makes it an ideal pairing with pasta, meat or cheese.
