Pinot Noir is for sure the noblest of the grapes. Very hard to cultivate, very demanding and fragile, can only grow in few places on earth. But when all requirements are met and it is in the right hands of a skilled winemaker, then Pinot Noir is as elegant as no other grape variety. The wine is pale colored, pronounced and nuanced on the nose and has a delicious taste with a silky-textured mouthfeel. Brunnenhof is a familymanaged mountain farm in the Alps with vineyards in Mazzon, considered the best place in Italy for Pinot Noir.
BAROLO ― CASTELLO DI VERDUNO

The wonderful castle of Verduno brings with it stories of the Savoys and King Carlo Alberto. Today, thanks to the precious support of the new generation of the Burlotto family, it has become an elegant hotel, a highquality restaurant, perfectly combining the soul of the cellar and that of the farmhouse. They produce traditional wines of Piemonte. Barolo is a single-vineyard 100% Nebbiolo, aged in large barrels. The vineyard distinguishes for a moderate elevation (265 meters above sea level), a soil consisting of white earth with a predominantly calcareous-clay composition, and it faces East. At harvest only the healthiest, perfectly ripe grapes are picked to obtain a wine capable of surprising for its longevity and power.
VINO NOBILE DI MONTEPULCIANO RISERVA ― CARPINETO

Montepulciano’s area has been considered precious for wine making since Roman times. The wine made there with Sangiovese took on the name “Vino Nobile” (noble wine) because it was sophisticated, high-quality and destined to the Noble families. Carpineto is a medium-sized Tuscan producer with different estates, one of which in Montepulciano. Their Riserva is made with Sangiovese and other local varieties and aged for 2 years part in large wooden casks and part in small barrels. It has a bright ruby color, intense and complex nose with floral, fruity and oaky aromas and velvety, harmonious and rich taste.
