Rosso di Valtellina is a simple, yet valuable, red wine from extreme viticulture in the Alps. Produced by a notorious and prestigious winery, AR.PE.PE., its main prerogative is finesse. The wine is made with Nebbiolo grapes grown on the rocky slopes of a valley at the boundary with Switzerland, North of Italy. It has a pale lively ruby red color and a pleasing youthful smell. Overall, it has enough of fruit, enough of freshness, enough of savoriness and plenty of delicacy. Perfect to pair with food and easy to drink.
